Features a roof that doubles as a head-mounted windshield
Hyundai has introduced the E4U concept at the Seoul Motor Show.
Looking like a belated April Fool's Day joke, the E4U is a personal mobility device that embraces "4 Es: Egg, Evolution, Electricity and Eco-friendliness." As a result, the odd looking device has an egg-like exterior with a retractable 'rear leg' and a distinctive roof which doubles as a head-mounted windshield.
Drivers won't win any points for style, but they can control the E4U by simply turning and tilting their body.
Motivation is provided by a 24 volt battery that powers a 500 watt electric motor. This enables the 80 kg (176 lbs) E4U to hit a top speed of 30km/h (18.6 mph).
