Looks highly unlikely
The internet is abuzz with rumors that Chevrolet is considering a Chevelle revival, but a little research shows the speculation is much ado about nothing.
GM Authority came across a trademark filing for the legendry moniker and decided to say its "safe to assume that a vehicle with the Chevelle nameplate is on the horizon." Unfortunately that doesn't appear to be the case as a quick glance at the U.S. Trademark Electronic Search System reveals General Motors filed applications to use the Chevelle name on a variety of goods and services including toy vehicles and clothing such as t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats.
GM also filed to use the Chevelle name for exterior badges and floor mats, but it appears they are for making replacement parts and accessories for older vehicles.
