Norway may not be the sunniest country on earth but it's certainly a place where drifting enthusiasts can have a blast.
Norway is not exactly associated as a country that has plenty of sunny days. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. It’s dark and snowy a good chunk of the year and, by one Norwegian’s own admission, there isn’t a whole lot to do there, especially in his hometown located just outside of Oslo. But that Norwegian is Frederic Aasbo, who’s also a professional drifter. While the weather may often be bleak, driving is one of the best ways to add some golden sunshine into one’s life.
On this latest episode of Motor Trend’s Downshift, journey to Norway and experience what it’s like to drift on snow and ice in a Toyota GT86 and other rear-wheel-drive cars. It turns out that Norway is pretty cool after all.
